ATHENS, Ga. (March 11, 2022) – Landmark Properties, a fully-integrated real estate firm specializing in the development, construction, acquisition and management of high-quality residential living communities, today announced the start of construction on a new 703-bed student housing community within easy walking distance of the University of Oregon. The Standard at Eugene will welcome residents for the 2024-2025 school year, and Landmark anticipates pre-leasing to begin in September 2023.

Located at 435 E. Broadway, The Standard at Eugene will offer residents top-of-the-line amenities, modern finishes and proximity to The University of Oregon’s campus. With 247 apartments representing 703 beds, the community will have a distinct mix of floor plans ranging from studio to five-bedroom units. Each apartment will feature quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry, large closets and state of the art technology packages including high-speed internet and cable. Residents will also enjoy an elevated amenity area containing a pool and outdoor deck along with a fitness center, sauna, student lounge, outdoor grilling area, computer lab and gaming area.

Construction is expected to be completed in September 2024, and students will have a 0.3 mile walk to campus. Overall, the Standard at Eugene will have more than 265,000-square-feet of residential space across seven floors. Residents who drive will have access to the community’s nearly 300 parking spaces.

The location is also an easy walk from the thriving Market District, home to Nike’s flagship Nike by Eugene retail store, as well as Downtown Eugene, Alton Baker Park and a variety of outdoor amenities.  It is also less than 1.5 miles from Matthew Knight Arena, Autzen Stadium, and historic Hayward Field.
